After the unexpected success of my previous article (14 Useful Websites You Wish You Knew Earlier), I decided to gather a bunch of other websites, browser apps, and tools that can help you improve your designs and make your job less time consuming. 

Again, make sure you have your Notes app open and get ready to save a few links! — You’ll probably find something for your needs.

1. Calligraphr.com

With calligraphr.com you can transform your handwriting or calligraphy into a font. Creating genuine personal designs and calligraphic artwork has never been easier! The tool comes in a Free and in a Pro (paid) version.

2. Brandmark.io

Struggling to find the perfect logo for your business? Let AI do it for you! Create a professional logo as well as business card designs, social media graphics, app icons and more with brandmark.io. Input the name of your brand, your slogan, a few keywords describing the mood of your brand, and choose a color palette — the AI will produce a series of options and color combinations you can choose from.

3. Type-scale.com

Typescale is a visual calculator that allow you to preview and choose the right type scale for your project. Experiment with font size, scale and different web fonts in one place. The website also suggests when small, medium and large scales are recommended.

4. Lumen5.com

Do you have great written content that you’d like to transform into a video and don’t have a lot of experience in video making? If so, this tool can definitely help you out. Lumen5.com transforms blog posts into videos using AI. Import the text, choose the video format and style you like, and Lumen5 does it for you.

5. Axiom.ai

Create browser bots to automate repetitive tasks on any website or web app — all without code. With Axiom.ai you can scrape all the information form an Amazon product page, automate Canva from Spreadsheets, send direct messages to Instagram users and like their newest posts, and much more!

6. Wayback machine

Wayback Machine takes a screenshot of a website every time it changes. Just type in the url of a website and see what a website looked like in the past. You can see on a calendar every time one or more changes were implemented and you can also select a date and see the website of that specific date and time.

7. Duotone

Find beautiful duotone images on Duotone by ShapeFactory. Choose images from Unsplash or upload your own image, select two colors, and download the image for your project.

8. Flaticon.com

Are you obsessed with icons? Access more than 6M free icons and stickers for your projects and download the ones you love on Flaticon.com. This website allows you to organize, create and save time on your designs. PNG, SVG, EPS, PSD and BASE 64 formats available.

9. Goodsalesemails.com

If you need inspiration for email copy, there a hundreds of email campaigns from the best companies in the world you can look at — for free. Go to goodsalesemails.com, select the company and look at all the emails from the same campaign.

10. Remove.bg

This tool is great for those designers who are running short on time or those who haven’t mastered Photoshop yet. Remove the background from an image in just one click! Remove.bg is free and relies on AI to detect and remove the background from each image you upload.

11. Muz.li

Muzli is a new-tab browser plugin and mobile app that instantly delivers relevant design stories and inspiration. Got some time to spare? Get plenty of inspiration on UI Store Design. There, you can find 625 free handpicked UI kits for your projects, and download design resources for a tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe, InVision Studio, and many more.

Do you ever visit a website and think to yourself: “Wow, what font are they using? Are you a broke bookworm? Then check this out! PDF Drive is the largest search engine for PDF files. As of today the website has 77,188,752 e-books that you can download for free. There are no annoying ads, and no download limits.

Tired of having to deal with countless and cold-hearted chat bots? Get actual human customer support with gethuman.com. On this website you can find the quickest way to get human customer support from the largest and most famous companies in the world. Once you select the company, this website provides you with phone numbers you can call, as well as the current waiting time.

17. Tunefind

Discover songs in TV shows and Movies on Tunefind.com. The song listings on Tunefind come from Music Supervisors — the professionals responsible for selecting music for TV shows and movies — or may be submitted by users. After a Tunefind user submits a song, the entire Tunefind community votes on the accuracy of the song submissions.

Sketch Repo helps designers find free, high-quality Sketch resources for their next project. It is still a young website, but it has a lot of potential. If you would like to contribute and share a Sketch file you designed, you can submit your design to the website using this form.

20. Body Visualiser

Are you designing a character for a video game? Or are you simply interested in seeing what your body proportions look like? Play around on bodyvisualizer.com. You can choose between a female and a male body type visualiser; it’s not the most inclusive tool out there, but it can come in handy for some design projects.
